The Accessible Campus Toolkit
Creating an accessible campus requires more than responding to individual accommodation requests. It requires building systems, environments, and practices that enable disabled students, employees, and visitors to participate fully in all aspects of campus life.
The Accessible Campus Toolkit is designed to help colleges and universities evaluate their current practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and strengthen organizational capacity for disability access across the institution. Rather than focusing on compliance alone, the toolkit encourages campuses to take a proactive approach to identifying and removing barriers.

For each environment, the toolkit will eventually include:
- An organizational capacity assessment to help evaluate your institution’s current level of maturity.
- Guidance for strengthening disability access within that environment.
- Practical tools, resources, and examples to support ongoing learning and continuous improvement.
